Michael Carty,

Tobar Brid, Loughglynn and Main Street, Ballinlough, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Manchester, U.K. - 25th October 2022, suddenly.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and sister Nonie Moran.

Michael will be sadly missed by his sister Anne Slattery (Australia), brother Dominic (Ballinlough), sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

May He Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at Gaynor's Funeral Home, Castlerea on Sunday evening from 5pm - 7pm with removal at 7.15pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough.

Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Monday with burial afterwards in Ballinlough cemetery.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the Carty family on the passing of Michael . In times gone by I had many’s a chat with him when he was home on holidays from Manchester . He would call occasionally to my Dad in the garage and chat about times gone by and the changes since their last meeting . No doubt there is a book in the life and times of Michael , from a young lad in Carraghs and his journey to Manchester and back again to his native Roscommon in recent times ( and all in between).
