Michael Keane,

Clooncrim, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon - peacefully, in his 90th year, at Roscommon University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on October 1st, 2022.

Pre-deceased by his brothers John-James and Tommie. Michael will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, his sons and daughters Sean (Ballinlough), Annie (Coyle, Ballinlough), Martina (Lynch, Lisacul), Gerry (Boston) and Tommy (Ballinlough). Also, by his adored grandchildren Stephen, Robyn, Fionn, Eimear, Jude, Isla, Erin, Tiernan and Faith. His sister Mary (Peters, New Jersey). Sons-in-law Fergal and Coleman, daughters-in-law Edel, Colette and Bonnie. Brothers-in-law Hans and Pat, sister-in-law Anne. Nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Ballinlough cemetery.

Michael’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and can be on the following link www.mcdonaghfuneraldirectors.ie/live-stream.

I’ve known Michael all of life, he never seemed to get a day older than he was 50 years ago . Our last chance meeting was at the service station in Ballinlough, we had a few words and he told me his age on this occasion . He was looking good . Another quite and pleasant man gone from the parish . He reminded me that he had done a lot of the work on my Mam and Dad’s new house back in 1966 when he worked with Paddy Waldron .
