James (Jim) Acton,

Derryvode, Williamstown, Co. Galway - peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Roscommon University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Teresa Acton and infant son John.

James will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Declan and Brian, daughter Caroline (Potter), sisters Mary Frances (Milltown), Loretta (Granlahan), Patricia (Lismore) and Kitty (Thurles), son-in-law Aidan (Potter), daughter-in-law Fiona (O'Dea), adoring grandchildren Alyssa, Kara, Jack, Saorla and Riona, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Jim's gentle soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home in Derryvode, Williamstown, Co. Galway (F45 AP95) on Saturday, September 17th from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m.

Removal from his home on Sunday, 18th September to St. Therese's Church, Williamstown for Funeral Mass at 1.00 p.m. followed by burial in Carraroe Cemetery.

House private on Sunday morning please.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at Roscommon University Hospital, thank you.
