Bertie Davoren (retired Garda Sergeant),

Belvedere House, Westport Road, Castlebar and formerly of Moorfield Cross, Eyrecourt, Co. Galway (August 28th 2022) - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Mary and his brother Gerald.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Maureen and children Gerard, Bertie, Mary, Damien, Declan, Regina and Adrian, brother Michael (Moorfield Cross, Ballinasloe), sisters Maureen McDonagh (Canada), Anna Glynn (Claregalway), Teresa Naughton (Roscommon), son-in-law PJ O’Donnell, daughters-in-law Bea and Anne-Marie, grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Grace, Odhrán, Portia, Sadhbh, Bláthín, Andrew, Stephen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace Bertie

Remains reposing at his residence (F23 HX92) on Wednesday evening from 5pm-7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning at 11am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Bertie will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

Please adhere to the current Covid-19 guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks and no hand shaking. The family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time.
