Peter Baggott
Cloonreliagh, Ballinlough, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - 24th August 2022 - peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Roscommon University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Elizabeth and brother Martin Joe.

Peter will be dearly missed by his brothers Padraig and Anthony, beloved sister Maureen, sisters-in-law Deirdre and Marie, nephews, grand-nephew, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Peter will be reposing at Gaynors Funeral Home, Castlerea on Friday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Ballinlough Cemetery.

On my own behalf and that of the extended Carroll family I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the Baggott family on the passing of their beloved Peter . Such a kind and gentle soul was your Peter . I’d have met him on and off over the years in and around Ballinlough. We would have the odd chat , and leave the unfinished discussion until the next chance meeting and off on his bike he would go . I met him in the summer of 2021 ( Covid times ) as he made his way to visit his sister in Henley house , and we chatted about the Covid times and the changes it brought to us all and the passing of his brother Martin Joe . Our most recent meeting was on Sunday July 3rd at the church in Ballinlough, a brief few words as he took up his traditional place inside the door on the right hand side amongst friends . That was to be our last few words . May your kind and gentle soul find eternal peace . God will reward you for your kindness, your empathy and your faith and your caring nature . Cathal
