Maura Hogan nee Biggins

Rochdale, England and formerly of Chapel Road, Ballinrobe on the 2nd of August 2022. 

Predeceased by her loving husband Jack and her sons Gerard and Tony, her brothers Liam, Paddy and Sean and sister Patsy. 

Maura will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Bernie and Ann, sons Noel and Chris, sister Nan and extended family nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday 25th August at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Rochdale at 1.45 followed by committal Service at Rochdale Crematorium at 3 pm. 

Maura's ashes will be taken back and interred with her husband Jack at a later date. (To be announced).

It's with our deepest of sorrows that Auntie Maura passed away earlier this month. It's very hard to believe that she is gone. We had our usual chats where l would tell her of new happenings in Ballinrobe and she loved to hear all the banter. It was my Auntie Maura who thought me how to read knitting and crochet patterns & we would spend alot of time on this where my Uncle Jack would have preferred that we were making a porter cake.My love of going to Knock comes from my visits to Knock Shrine when Auntie Maura & Uncle Jack always brought me & my first visit to a restaurant was in Galway GBC where l had been bought a new outfit. Days we forget but precious memories remain with us forever. My last conversation with Auntie Maura she asked me to pray for her in Knock. Very soon she will be reunited with all our families when she comes home to Ballinrobe and is laid beside Uncle Jack & Gérard. Good night & God Bless you Auntie Maura as you rest in the arms ofGod's angels. Love you, Mary.
