Keel West, Dooagh, Achill – at Mayo University Hospital.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Achill Sound on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Removal from his residence on Sunday morning at 10.45 to St. Patrick’s Church, Pollagh, Keel for Mass at 11.30 followed by burial in Slievemore Cemetery.

Mass will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/achilllivestreaming.

Very sad to hear this news. Michael did so much for so many. He was the personification of "can-do" - "can't" just wasn't in his creed. He made a lasting contribution to Water Services in Wicklow and many other counties as well. He was a hard working and extremely decent man who inspired great loyalty and respect amongst those who worked for him. Sincerest condolences to the McNamara Family from myself and my mother (who Michael and family did so much to help in Mayo back in May 2008).
