Mary Kelly nee Cunningham,

Rath, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloonlough, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon (August 15th 2022) - peacefully in the loving care of Brooklodge Nursing Home and her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Kevin.

Mary will be fondly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters Detta (Courtney, Claremorris), John (Ballaghadereen), Ann (Farrell, Oran), Claire (Harrington, Granlahan) and Kevin (Galway), her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Kelley, Matthew, Michelle, Amy, Darragh, Ronan, Jack and Conor, her great-granddaughter Alesha.

Mary will also be sadly missed by her brother Jimmy (Ballinlough), her sisters Sally (Blake, Ballygar), Kitty (Sloyan, Ballyhaunis), Imelda (Bailie, UK) and Nora (Copley, Florida), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Wednesday evening from 4:30pm until 7pm.

Funeral arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough on Thursday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery via Castlerea and Ballintubber arriving at 2.45pm approximately.

and rearing a large family into the bargain , but no problem to the Cloonlough woman as she came from a large family herself ( Cunningham household) .Many of Mary’s generation were reared in a different Ireland than that of today and that rearing made them the great people they became in later years,and hard work didn’t bother them , they just got on with it .
