Carrowmore, Knock, Co Mayo. 6th August 2022. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff at Galway Clinic.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Angela O’Brien

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, brothers Enda and John, sisters Eva, Marcella and Colette, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence F12WT20 on Tuesday evening from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of St. John The Baptist, Knock for Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial afterwards in Knock cemetery.

House private on Wednesday morning please.

Please adhere to Covid guidelines.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Order Of Malta, Knock.

It was a shock to the system to hear of the passing of Paddy Joe. Our condolences to his wife, Ann, to his brothers and sisters and extended members of the O'Brien and Ryan families. Having known Paddy Joe for years around Knock, he was always special, pleasant, chatty, friendly and witty. He enjoyed acting on stage and participating in various Parish activities and he seemed to know everybody. His time spent as a steward at Knock Shrine endeared him to many. His lovely Christian and caring qualities were a wonderful support and comfort for many grieving families in his role as Funeral Director. May Our Lady of Knock reward him now for a life well lived and may he rest in the peace of the heavenly Jerusalem.

So Paddy Joe all I can say is that it was a privilege to have made your acquaintance over the years .I was always the “ wiser “ after our chats .
