Paddy Prendergast,

Accony, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly of Ontario, Canada - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital in his 90th year on 28th July 2022.

Loving son of the late Richard & Mollie (née O'Malley), and brother of the late Sr. Kitty, Mike, Mary, Eddie, Richie, James, Nora, Nancy & Sal. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving partner Teresa (Naughton), sister Sr. Richard (Bridgie), brother-in-law Cecil, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews & nieces, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Paddy will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Saturday (July 30th) (reposing will be walk through and no hand shaking) from 6.00pm, concluding with evening prayer at 7.00pm, followed by removal walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Reek Sunday at 11.30am, followed by interment in Killeen New Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Order of Malta Louisburgh c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.

We treasured his stories of relatives and relationships. Whenever he came to Chicago in years past, he would have long talks with our father, his uncle, as they recounted past times, people, and places. He was a charming conversationali st, a great cousin, a good friend. We will miss him so. A light has gone out in Accony.
