Hugh (Matthew) Cosgrove
D’alton Street, Claremorris, Co. Mayo. On July 12th 2022 - Peacefully in his 89th year - at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Patsy.

Hugh will be sadly missed by his sons Matthew and Michael, his daughters Karen and Ruth, son-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Janet and Virginia, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Robert, John and sister-in-law Fiodna, brother-in-law Greg, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home (Walk through only no handshaking please for duration of the funeral by request) Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) on Thursday evening 14th July from 6.30 until 8 o’clock followed by removal to his home.


Remains will arrive on Friday evening (15thJuly) at St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Funeral Mass at 4 o’clock with burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on You Tube “Claremorris Church Live”  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXznV-Kn2sVij_zi3fZun6w  or listened to on local parish radio on 106f.m.
