Carrowniskey, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo - unexpectedly at his home on July 9th 2022.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Annie nee Mc Donnell, daughters Mary, Margaret and Bridget, brothers Richard, Peter and Tommie, sister Lily Mc Govern, sons-in-law John Mc Dowell and Máirtín Conneely, grandchildren Jack, Patrick, Annie, Máirtín Óg, Áine, Joe and Éabha-Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Joe will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Tuesday (July 12th) from 6.00pm, concluding with prayers at 7.00pm (reposing will be walk through, and no hand shaking).
Removal from his home on Wednesday at 11.00am to arrive the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen for 11.30am Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu if desired, to Louisburgh Order of Malta c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.

Joe was a wonderful person and always enjoyed meeting him as one was sure of some fun conversation which was especially good over a few pints and you always left his company the better of having met him.
