Mary Gilboy née Hefferon
Corclough West, Belmullet and formerly of Muing, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Galway University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on 31st May 2022.

Predeceased by her infant son Joseph and recently deceased father Paul Hefferon.

Beloved wife of Anthony, dear mother of Sarah, Maureen and Alan, adoring grandmother to Alanna, Emma, Callum and Andrew and precious daughter of Alice. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her siblings Philomena Moran (Glenamoy), Paul Hefferon(Muing, Belmullet),Martina Hefferon Duffy (Castlebar),Angela Hefferon(Aughalasheen, Belmullet), Grace Hegarty (Crossmolina), Margaret Walker (Glosh, Blacksod), Peter Hefferon(Crossmolina), Eilish Padden (Aughleam, Blacksod), Joe Hefferon(Muing, Belmullet), Bernie Padden (Ardmore, Binghamstown), Carol Corduff(Muing, Belmullet), Claire Hefferon (Crossmolina) and Padraig Hefferon(Muing, Belmullet), Maureen’s partner Barry, Alan’s partner Veronica, aunts, uncles, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 5.30 until 7.30 with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet at 9 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass is available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clockwith all other funeral services available for viewing after 10 o’clock on Saturday evening.
