Mary Patricia Duffy,

"The Cottage", Drummin, Westport - peacefully in her sleep aged 96 years at the McBride Community Nursing Unit, Westport on Thursday, May 26th 2022.

Mary was born in Birmingham, UK and lived there until she met and married her husband John Francis Duffy. After some time they settled in "The Cottage" in John's home village of Drummin. John passed away in 2007 but Mary continued to live in Drummin where she was a well-known face in the Church and community. Mary had two sons John Andrew & David Francis but sadly David passed away in 2014. It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport on Tuesday (May 31st) from 6:00pm until 6:45pm for walk through sympathising, no hand shaking by request. Removal at 7:00pm to St. Mary's Church, Drummin.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11:00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
