Mary Davitt née Coyle,

Barhauve, Belmullet and formerly of Aughadoone, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Belmullet Community Hospital on 10th May 2022.

Predeceased by her husband John, sister Noreen and brother Anthony.

Beloved mother of SíleKeane (Mallow, Co. Cork), Kathleen Buckley (Boston, U.S.A.), Maureen Conroy (Barhauve, Belmullet) and Bridie Davitt (Dublin).

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law E.J. Conroy (Barhauve, Belmullet), Ned Keane (Mallow, Co. Cork) and John Buckley (Boston, U.S.A.), grandchildren Kieran, Aishling, Enda, Martin, Gary, Aoife, Roisín, John, Siobhán, Amanda and Daniel, great grandchildren, brothers Martin (Wales) and Richie (London), sisters Margaret Jeoffrey (London), Kathleen Corp (London) and Agnes Murphy (Charleville, Co. Cork), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5.30 until 7 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Shanahee on Friday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Belmullet Community Hospital, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 12 noon on Friday on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Friday evening at 8 o’clock.

In keeping with current advice regarding Covid-19, please wear a mask or face covering and please refrain from handshaking in the Funeral Home, at the Church, during Funeral Mass and at the Cemetery. The Davitt/Conroy family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
