Paddy (better known as Joe) Towey,

Gurteen, Co. Sligo (May 3rd 2022) - peacefully in his 98th year, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff and nurses at Ballymote Community Nursing Unit. 

Paddy will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Ann, brother Luke (U.S.A), sister Noreen (Kerry), sister-in-law Beatrice, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Paddy’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Paddy will repose at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen on Thursday (May 5th) from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal on Friday to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at Ballymote Community Care Unit, C/O Mahon & O’Dowd Funeral Directors, Gurteen.
