Keel West, Dooagh, Achill. 24th April 2022, unexpectedly at his residence.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Achill Sound on Tuesday evening from 5.30 with removal at 7 o’clock to Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Dookinella arriving at 7.30.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 10.30 with burial afterwards in Slievemore Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear that Francie has passed away. My heartfelt sympathy to Thomas, the extended McNamara Family, neighbours and many friends. Francie was a kind and thoughtful neighbour who was a regular visitor to my beloved parents Mikie & Sally. Dad and Francie were one of the many crews involved in shark fishing in Keem and they also competed in all-Ireland currach races in Galway. Their stories were very entertaining and often not for the faint hearted!
Francie, we will miss seeing you out for your walks. Dooagh's loss is Heaven's gain.
