Shanaghy Heights, Ballina - peacefully at her residence surrounded by and in the loving care of her family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Dick.

Marion, beloved mother of Kenneth, Liam, Frances, Mairead, Mary Carmel, Grainne, Anne and Noelle.

Deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving and very much loved sons and daughters, brother Seamus, sister Joyce Cronin , her adored 23 grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Marion May Your Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday, 7th April from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.

Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina via Ardnaree on Friday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org

House private please.

I am so saddened to hear of dear Marian's death..my heartfelt sympathy to Ken, Liam Francis and all your sisters. We moved to Greenhills with our families in 1978. We were great neighbours and I could always depend on Marian to have a laugh and really enjoy a joke and chat with her. Her lovely FAmily , her pride and joy, her granchildren the apple of her eye and beaming smile. Her wit and lovely warmth....we would meet on the street after she moved back to Shanaghy and it was like days gone by.
We were both at the last dance in The Town Hall.....she loved to dance...she is happy now with her beloved Dick. Take care of each other..this is what she always did. Rest now Marian. Farewell my old friend of long ago. X
