Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway H91VIK8 on Thursday, 31st March from 7 pm to 8 pm.

Requiem Mass for Adrienne on arrival at 11 am at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Friday, 1st April.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to Adrienne’s family and to her close friends. I’m shocked and saddened to hear of her passing.
We bonded as young singers growing up in Castlebar and as well as singing in Church each weekend, we spent many hours in each other’s homes, singing, arranging songs and adding harmonies with plenty of chats and laughs along the way.
Her voice was so beautiful and we just loved singing together.
It being the 80’s, we liked all the style of the day and Adrienne was always very cool and very stylish.
One Summer, Adrienne went to Italy as part of her studies and we would write to keep in touch. Her letters were amazing as she evoked all the sights, scents and sounds of her surroundings so clearly.
She translated some of our songs and played them for her fellow students. One particular favourite was ‘The Rose’.
She was great company and I remember how much I missed her that Summer....as I miss her now.
