Bridget Ellen Keane nee Munnelly,

Aughaluskey, Moneen, Castlebar and formerly of Mount Jubilee, Geesala, Bangor Erris, Ballina - peacefully in Mayo University Hospital after a brief illness on 25th March 2022.

Predeceased by her parents Cormac and Ellen Munnelly and her brothers Michael and John. 

Beloved wife of Joe and dearly loved mother of Fiona (Turlough), David (Belcarrra) and Siobhan Costello (Prosperous, Co. Kildare).

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, brothers Frank (Charlestown), Martin (Charlestown), Vinny (London), Stephen (Mount Jubilee), and her sisters Nora McHugh (Cambridge, UK), Bab McGinty (Lincoln, UK) and Mary Cadden (Lahardane), her grandchildren Saoirse and Siobhan Bradley, Ioseph and Sean Scott-Keane, Clara, Garvan, Ronan and Garrett Costello, her daughter-in-law Jane Scott-Keane, her son-in-law John Costello, nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, god-children, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Bridget went to the UK as a young woman where she met and married her husband Joe. They returned to Ireland and made their home in Aughaluskey, Moneen, Castlebar.

Bridget will repose in the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Sunday, 27th March from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

Funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary on Monday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. 

Afterwards Bridget will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
