Rest in peace, Fr Roger (or Fr McDonagh as we knew him as). I remember him from over 40 years ago as a little boy in Cowbridge. A lovely and caring man who looked out for my parents, my brother and me as an Irish family who moved to Wales in the late 1970s. We were all very fond of him. I remember visiting Fr Roger with my brother and Dad when I must have been about 5 and asking my Dad where his wife was. Everyone in the room fell about laughing! He must have left wonderful and enduring memories to countless families. Condolences to all his family.

Condolences to Fr Roger's family. He was always in great humour when he called to the school in Kilmactigue and had some great stories from his time in Wales.
