John Patrick McHale,

Rochdale, Greater Manchester - on Tuesday 15th of March 2022.

Pre-deceased by his parents, James and Mary, and his brother Michael. Loving husband of recently deceased Kathleen (nee Hunt, of Cuiltycreaghan, Brickens); Proud father of Patrick, Ann-Marie, Sean and Siobhan; adoring granddad of Senan, Ruby, Rory, Ronan and Raya; much loved father-in-law to Sinead and Qadeer; and loyal friend to many. John will be hugely missed by all who knew him.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Removal on Monday morning (April 4th) at 11:30 am from St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 EW26) to arrive for Requiem Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, Brickens at 12:00 noon to celebrate John’s life. Burial afterwards in Tulrahan cemetery.

It was with deep shock when we heard that John had passed yaway. It is hard to believe that we won't have our great phone calls where we would have the world put to right during our calls. Losing Kath only a few weeks ago was heartbreaking especially when John wasn't well enough to travel home with his family & take Kath home to Ireland. Our thoughts are with Patrick, Sean ,Ann Marie & Siobhain and he was so proud of how his children had done everything & more to Celebrate their Mams life. John was one of lives good living people who would do anything to help out. John, you will now celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary in September with the love of your life Kath so I hope all of your family will take solace from your grief at the moment. Our lives have been blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing you John. God Bless John and rest with Kath in the arms of God's Angels. Ar dheis Dè go raibh a anam Delis. I will truly miss you.
