Tom McNicholas,

Chicago and formerly of Ara, Balla, Co. Mayo - peacefully after a brief illness.

Predeceased by his wife, Mary Ellen (nee Joyce, Miller Hill, Ballintubber), his sister Mary Ellen Jennings (Chicago) and brother John McNicholas (Ara).

Tom is survived by his son Patrick and daughter Sheila, brother Pat (Cornwall), sisters Ann Butler and Philomena O’Laughlin (Chicago), daughter in law Deenna, son in law Jim, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.  Tom will be remembered with fondness by his neighbours and friends in Chicago and in his beloved Mayo. 

Funeral mass takes place in Our Lady of Victory Church, Chicago on Monday, March 21st followed by burial in Maryhill cemetery - http://www.gffh.com/thomas-mcnicholas/.
