Margaret (better known as Rita) Devaney (nee McDonagh)

Annaghmore, Gurteen, Co. Sligo and formerly Clooneen, Cuilmore and Manchester, England - peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. March 14th, 2022

Predeceased by her husband John (February 1th 2022 ), parents Tim and Margaret, brother Sonny and sister Mary.

Rita will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters Julie and Angela, brother Michael, sister Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. A special thanks to Michael, Patricia, Bridie and Tom.

May Rita’s Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Removal from her home on Saturday (March 19th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the resurrection at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery. 

Funeral Mass will be live streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen.
