Joe Sweeney
8 Hillcrest, Stonebridge, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Kevinsfort, Sligo and Corrigeen, Co. Roscommon (5th March, 2022) – suddenly.
Predeceased by his parents Joe and Josephine and his siblings Michael Francis, Carmel and Noel. Deeply regretted by his partner Anna Ryan, his children Carmen McDermottroe (Coolaney), Noelle Galvan (Ballisodare), Joseph (Collooney), Trevor (Castletroy, Co. Limerick), Joanne Lydon (Dubai) and their mother Mary Sweeney (Ballisodare).
He will be sadly missed by his partner, children, his much loved and adored grandchildren Alli, Reuben, Sophia, Joseph Sebastian, Jessica, Carter, Megan, Brody, Jonathan, Amelia and Theodore, brother Des (Galway), sisters Mary (Strokestown), Patricia (UK) and Martha (Tulsk), sons-in-law Noel, Simon and Phillip, daughter-in-law Avril, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence in Dromahair (F91N7C3) on Tuesday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Wednesday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm.
Funeral will proceed to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden for burial.
