Winifred McVeigh,

Dringeen, Cong, Co. Mayo - died peacefully in her sleep in Portumna Retirement Village on Wednesday, 16th February 2022, in her 106th year.

Predeceased by her father James and mother Catherine, her brothers Michael, James, John and Patrick and her sister Mae.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, nieces Mary, Kathleen, Pat and Sheila; her nephews John, James, Michael, Patrick, James, Andrew, John and Paul, her cousins Sarah and Anne, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Burke’s Funeral Home, Clonbur on Friday, February 18th 2022 from 5pm – 6pm.

Removal on Saturday morning after prayers for Winifred in Burke’s Funeral Home.

Funeral cortege to arrive at Saint Mary of The Rosary Church, Cong for 12 noon Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in The Abbey Cemetery, Cong.

Funeral Mass will be streamed live on Burke Funeral Directors Clonbur facebook page .

Due to Government advice and HSE guidelines on public gatherings, face masks must be worn and walk through will be in place for Winifred’s Reposing
