Kathleen McCarrick nee Johnston,

Doomore, Tubbercurry and formerly of Carrentubber, Tubbercurry, Co.Sligo - peacefully in Mayo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Lenny and sons Martin and Michael her siblings Brigie, Johnny, Una, Eddie, Margaret, Brendan and Jim.

Kathleen will be deeply mourned by her family Tom, Mary, James, Bernie, Monica, Patrick and Catherine, daughters-in-law Breege, Martina, Aysha, sons-in-law Liam and Liam, grandchildren Finn, Aoife, Jamie, Michaela, Aoibheann, Donnacha, Maeve, Eogha, Danny, Ailbe, Brian, Allannah and Fiona, sister-in-law Kathleen (Washington), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives neighbours and great friends.

Rest In Peace.

Kathleen will be reposing in the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry (F91 DV50) on this Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 7 o'clock to arrive in St. Michael's Church, Cloonacool for 8 o'clock.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with the funeral afterwards to Cloonacool Cemetery.

Mass will be livestreamed on TubbercurryCloonacool.com/webcam. 

No flowers by request. Donations if desired to St. Vincent De Paul or Tubbercurry Cancer Support Centre, Tubbercurry.

It will be a walk through in the Funeral Home and we would advise to refrain from hand shaking and hugging both there, the church and cemetery and to follow Covid19 guidelines.

Auntie Kathleen what a fantastic person and my son loved to meet her when he went on his maiden Ireland visit a couple of years ago. I loved the summer holidays in Sligo as a kid and the welcome from our auntie either at the family home or sometimes down in Enniscrone during the Mc Carricks’s family holiday. Then there was the walk from uncle Jim’s to her house to watch cricket on her TV as she could not getBBC I think they must have thought I was mad watching a screen for 6 or so hours with not a lot going on. Staying in Doomore on future holidays was always great as she looked after us. She loved the family get together when siblings who left the Emerald Isle came back in the summer.
