Edward (Eddie) Downes,

Priory Park, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Taverne, Cloonloo, via Boyle, Co. Sligo,

January 14th 2022;

Peacefully at The North West Hospice Sligo.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marian and his sister Nancy.

He will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers Jack (Drumcliff) and Adrian (Maynooth), sisters Madeleine (Boyle), Josie (London) and Vivian Doohan (Ballaghaderreen), sisters-in-law,nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May his Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Removal from Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle, on Monday to St. Joseph’s Church, Cloonloo, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. 

Burial afterward in Templeronan Cemetery.

Please adhere to all HSE guidelines at the Funeral.
