Chapel Lane, Glenealy, Co. Wicklow and Bunowen, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (December 25th 2021) - unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by his family on Christmas Day.
Loving husband of the late Moira (née Richardson).
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving daughters Sinéad and Deirdre (Needham), son-in-law Seamus, grandchildren Seamus, Conor, Aoibhinn, & Cormac, great-grandchild Noah, sister Edie, sister-in-law Ina and her husband Brendan, nephews, nieces, extended Burke & Richardson families and many friends.

PJ will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Monday (Dec. 27th) from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.
PJ will lie in repose at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Rd., Rathdrum on Tuesday (Dec. 28th) from 6pm to 7pm.
Cortége will arrive at St. Joseph's Church, Glenealy on Wednesday (Dec. 29th) for 11.30am Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment in Glenealy Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Order of Malta Louisburgh C/O Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo.
