Bridget Fitzgerald nee Burke

Northenden, Manchester and formerly of Kilconly, Tuam, County Galway - peacefully in a residential home on December 15th 2021, whilst fortified by The Rites of Holy Mother Church.

Rest in Peace. 

The dearly loved wife of James and much loved mother of Michael, Caroline, Paddy, John, Helen, Maurice, Jacqueline and Martin.

Also a cherished nana, great-nana, aunt and mother-in-law, sister of the late Henry Burke Urracly, Kilconly and the Late Kathleen Griffin, Irishtown

Bridget was also a great friend to many and she will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Requiem Mass to take place at St. Hilda’s R.C. Church, Kenworthy Lane, Northenden, Manchester M22 4EF on Wednesday, 29th December at 12.00 p.m. followed by burial at Southern Cemetery.

Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be sent to Francis House Children’s Hospice.

Sincere condolences to all the Burke family and Fitzgerald family of the passing of breege. such fond memories of her when she would vist along with Jimmy to granny and grandads house where there would be a sly 5 euro slipped into our hands and told to say nuthing. She was a great character and will be fondly missed but I've no doubt there will be a warm welcome in heaven for her with a nice slice of granny's apple pie and a cup of tea waiting for her.
