Joe Dowd,

Moor Hall Drive, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England and formerly of Tibohine, Castlerea, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon (4th December 2021) - peacefully at home in his 91st year, surrounded by his family.

Loving husband to Annie Dowd (née Clancy) and father to Eugene, Jerry, Laurence, Noreen, Brendan and Mary.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brothers Laurence (Tibohine, Castlerea) and Frank (USA), grandchildren, great grandchildren, son-in-law Dan, daughters-in-law Nicky, Catherina, Lindsey, & Tracy, sister-in-law, extended Dowd Family and many friends. Predeceased by his brother Ray and sisters Madeline, Noreen & Peggy.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Removal to The Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 69 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham B74 2NU at 4.30pm on Sunday, 19th December 2021.

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, 20th December 2021 at 12 noon, followed by interment at New Oscott Cemetery, 55 Hawthorn Brook Way, Sutton Coldfield Birmingham B23 5LF.

Family Flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Birmingham Irish Association, C/O Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo.
