Mary Sweeney née Goonan,

‘Inís’, Dooyork, Geesala, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Tallaghan Bawn, Geesala - peacefully at her residence on 28th November 2021.

Predeceased by her loving husband Pat, infant daughter Eírin and daughter in law Collette.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, daughters Mary, Fiona, Ann Marie and Cathriona, sons Gerard and Oliver, sons-in-law Declan Rowland, Dale Pittendrighy, Jimmy Sweeney, Dave Grist, adored grandchildren, relatives neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral arriving at the Church of St. Colmcille, Geesala on Wednesday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock followed by burial in Geesala Cemetery.

Owing to Covid-19 pandemic, the Sweeney residence will remain private at all times in the interests of health and safety. For those attending the Funeral Mass, please adhere to regulations regarding Covid-19 and ensure face masks are worn. The Sweeney family appreciate your cooperation and understanding at this difficult time.
