Patrick Joseph Barrett (better known as P.J.),

Toorglas West, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Sonas Tí Aire Nursing Home, Belmullet on 28^thNovember 2021.

Predeceased by his parents and siblings.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his devoted and loving wife Annie Kate, stepdaughter Ann Marie and her husband Pat Barrett, his grandchildren Michelle and Martin, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains will repose at the residence of Ann Marie and Pat Barrett, Logmore, Belmullet (Eircode – F26XW32) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 8 o’clock.

The Wake will be walk through only and refrain from hand shaking.

The house will remain private at all other times.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patient’s Comfort Fund at the Sonas Tí Aire Nursing Home, Belmullet, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, please ensure social distancing is being respected,  face masks are worn within the wake house and church, also please refrain from handshaking during the wake, at the church, during Funeral Mass and at the cemetery.
