Sally Bourke nèe Dempsey

Heathfield, Ballycastle; in the care of the staff of the Riverview Nursing Home, Ballina. Beloved wife of Micheál, and mother of Marion, Michele, Orla and Michael.

She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Caoimhe, Mikey, Conor, Dearbhla, Daire, Aoife, Gráinne and great-grandson Séan: her sister Mary and brother Ned; her sisters-in-law Nolly, Cáitlín, Mary (Dempsey) and Nancy, her sons-in-law Hugh and Ken, daughter-in-law Jackie, and all her neighbours, relatives and friends.

May She Rest in Peace

Funeral will arrive via Heathfield on Saturday 30th to St. Bridgid's Church, Ballycastle for Requiem Mass at 1 o’clock.

A service of committal will be held in Mount Jerome on Monday at 3:15 followed by cremation.

House private please.

Having lived in Laragon as a youngster I have many happy memories of visiting the Burke family whilst they would be down in Heathfield from their Dublin abode. Not alone would the payment be good for any job that you might do badly for them but Sally’s warmth of personality and her wonderful home cooking capabilities make each visit special.
