I have everlasting fond memories of him, that time will never erase.
He was a very good friend to me and Western Alzheimer’s.
It was always a pleasure to meet him and he certainly had a great and
generous heart.
Paddy Joe was a great friend to the Mullen family and us descendants of all through the years. He always had time for a chat and a bit of banter, but most of all he loved to hear how his childhood friends and neighbours were getting on.
His love for the Glen was clear for all to see in the beautiful job he did restoring and renovating the Glenree school.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Rest in Peace Paddy Joe
HIS sister Agnes and brother Chris.
and their extended family.
Paddy Joe will be sadly missed by all.
May he R I P.
Paddy Moran was at the very heart of the Mayo Association in Dublin for over 40 years and did so much great work during that time. He was one of the most helpful and obliging members you could ask for and was of great help to me on the numerous occasions I reported on the annual dinner dance in the Burlington Hotel.
Paddy had a great way with people and was on first name terms with so many from all over the country. He had a special bond with Bonniconlon and Attymass and his abiding passion for Mayo knew no limits. Wherever you met Paddy, you were guaranteed a warm and hearty welcome. Like so many others, he had a great respect for country legend, Big Tom, and many were the chats they enjoyed over the years. Paddy truly was one of the stout-hearted men from the county Mayo.
My condolences to Bridie, sons Shane and Ken, sister Agnes, brother Chris, in-laws, grandchildren and his many friends on the passing of a fine gentleman.
May you rest in.peace Paddy and may your family feel held and supported at this difficult time. You are in our prayers.

I joined the Mayo Association back in the early 1980's at Paddy's invitation.
Paddy was one of the founders of the "Moy Valley branch of Comhaltas in Ballina in 1993 and the branch were successful in bring the All-Ireland Fleadh to Ballina in 1997 and 1998.Paddy ensured that the campaign to bring the Fleadh to Ballina was supported each year at the annual Mayo ball held in Dublin.
