I fished with Joe on the Midas as a teenager in Killala. Some tough days but some great memories and stories, when literally anything could happen.
God grant that I may live to fish, until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast.
Then I must humbly pray;
When in the lords safe landing net,
I’m peacefully asleep,
That in his mercy I be judged,
As big enough to keep.
Rest in Peace Joe.
Joe loved the outdoors and was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
