Sister Kathleen Shiels

Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Carrick Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, late off the Convent of Mercy Ballaghaderreen and formerly of Corhober, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. 23rd October 2021 - peacefully at Abbey Haven.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridie (Berreen) Derroon, Nancy (Walker) Scotland, Sister Josephine, Sister Attracta, Rose (Rouse) Ballina, Brothers Michael Corhober, Paddy U.S.A., Nieces and nephews, Grandnieces, Grandnephews, Sisters of Mercy, Western Province, relatives, neighbours and friends.

REST IN PEACE

Sister Kathleen will repose at the Perry Funeral Home Ballymote (F56 TK20) on Monday evening from 5 o’clock  to 6.30 followed by removal to the Church of The Immaculate Conception to arrive at 7 o’clock.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday 26th at 12 noon.  Burial afterwards in St. Columba's Cemetery Ballymote.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Ballymote Parish.org/webcam.

Reverently remembered as a teacher, spiritual counsellor and friend. Sr Kathleen prepared me for 1st Holy Communion when I was a student at St. Joseph's Grade School Jefferson City Mo.
