William Dolan (better known as Willie),

Castlehill Park, Turlough Road, Castlebar and formerly of Churchfield Lower, Tourmakeady and London - peacefully on 27th September 2021 at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.

Son of the late Patrick and Bridget Dolan, brother of the late Mickey (Tourmakeady), Breege Walsh (Ballinahowen, Connemara), Paddy (UK) and Tommy (Australia).

He will be sadly missed by his sisters Katie Connor (Dublin) and Norah De Cuyper (Canada), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, family circle and friends.

As a young man Willie emigrated to the UK like many of his generation where he worked  hard  and later he  returned to Dublin and then to his beloved Mayo and lived for an number of years in Castlebar where he was to make many new friends and renew old acquaintances.  He was a lifelong follower of Mayo GAA.

Willie will repose in the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Wednesday, 29th September from 5pm to 6pm and later in St. Mary's Funeral Home, Tourmakeady from 7pm to 8pm. 

Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church, Tourmakeady on Thursday, 30th September for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. 

Afterwards Willie will be laid to rest with his parents Patrick and Bridget in Churchfield Cemetery, Tourmakeady.
