Mary Delaney nee Neary,

Ballyglass, Ballymoe, County Galway and formerly of Milltown, Ballinlough, Castlerea, County Roscommon – peacefully on 22nd September, 2021 at Roscommon University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy and her son Michael.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Marian Kilcoyne (Louisburgh), Peggy McGlynn (Dublin), Jo Phillips (Galway), Carmel Waldron (Ballymoe), Helen Halloran (Galway) and Jacqueline Costello (Ballymoe), sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Jo, sister-in-law Josie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

A special word of thanks to all those who cared for Mary, the Home Help Team, Public Health Nurses, Dr. Mark McCaffrey and his staff, all the staff at St. Francis Nursing Home, Kilkerrin, Staff at University Hospital Galway, Roscommon University Hospital, Palliative Care Team at Galway Hospice, Palliative Care Team at Mayo Roscommon Hospice and all those that ever offered a kindness to Mary.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe (Eircode F45 DN79) this Friday evening, September 24th, 2021 from 6pm until 7.30 (walk through only please).

Funeral Mass will take place for family and friends in St. Croan’s Church, Ballymoe (Eircode F45 R9Y4) on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at 11.30am, in line with Government guidelines, followed by burial in Kilcroan cemetery (F45 HY43).

Mary's funeral cortége will arrive for Funeral Mass at 11.25am
