Bridget Wims née Scanlon,

Rathdooney, Ballymote, Co. Sligo –in the loving care of her family and the staff of Ballymote Community Nursing Unit.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas, brother Joe and sister Eileen.

Sadly missed by her son Gerard, daughters Carmel and Marie, sister Teresa Collis (Fatima Avenue, Sligo), sister-in-law Áine Wims, grandchildren Molly and Josie, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.

Funeral cortège will be leaving Bridget’s residence at 11.30am on Thursday to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote.

Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery.

The mass will be live-streamed on Ballymote Parish Facebook page.  

House private on Thursday morning.

Due to government advice and guidelines regarding public gatherings, attendance at Bridget’s residence will be limited to family and close friends.

Face coverings must be worn please.

Those who wish to attend but are unable to do so due to the restrictions are invited to leave a message of condolence for the family on www.midwestradio.ie.

Bridget’s family would like to thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time.
