Mary Dunleavy nee Griffin

Widney Manor Road, Solihull England - passed away peacefully on Saturday 7th August 2021 at Heartlands Hospital Birmingham.   

Predeceased by her parents Mai Griffin (Parke Castlebar) and Joseph Griffin (Cloonfinish) and brother Tommy Griffin (Birmingham & Great Yarmouth).   

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Seamus Dunleavy (Charlestown), daughter Tracey, sons Shamus & Russell, her six grandsons, her daughter-in-laws Sheila and Denise, sisters & brother, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Funeral will take place at a later date. 

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Mary was a great sister, aged 10 when our dad died. She became a second mother to her 2 brothers and 5 sisters. mom would never have coped without Mary. She was loved by all. our old nieghbours and friends in Stoneylane, Sparkhill. We were very proud when Mary became head girl of her school. She was a real class act, the very best you could ever meet.
