Margaret Sweeney (nee Gardiner)

Knockanderry, Killala - at Mayo University Hospital after a short illness, bravely borne.

Predeceased by her parents John A. and Bridget, her husband John and brother Paddy.

Dearly loved mother of Mae, Sean, Clare, Breege, Declan, Kathy, Gretta and Dympna, sons-in law Patrick, Benny, Greg, Patrick and daughter-in-law Cathriona.

Beloved and dearly missed by her grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters; Loretta, Helen, Lily, Doris, brother; Andy, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

 

Removal from her residence on Sunday to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Cooneal for Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm. Burial afterwards in Killala Cemetery.

Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv/cooneal.

 

House private to family and close friends and the funeral within the current Covid guidelines.
