Eamonn Munnelly,

Greenaun, Knockanillaun, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Deeply mourned by his sister Mary, brothers Padraic and Séan, cousins, relatives and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Remains will be removed from his residence this Tuesday at 11.30am arriving to the Church of the Assumption, Ardagh for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.

In keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Eamonn's Funeral Mass will take place privately for family only.

The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this sad time.

I had the privilege of spending time with Cousin Eamonn in my teens and early twenties before migrating to Canada. He left a life-long impression of a man of simple but steadfast faith; a soul that exuded gentleness but inner strength that was so evidently in control of his speech, his senses and his conduct. His presence in the room invited stillness and quiet; reflection and humility. This inner peace, put others at peace. When I visited with boisterous teenage friends and Eamonn was among us, there was calm, and it never felt that the peace needed filling with empty or idle chatter. What an example to us all at that time and since. I praise God that Eamonn was a role model of faith and humility in my life and look forward to when we will have all eternity in heaven together. May Our Lady Queen of Sorrows comfort Mary, Sean and Padraic. RIP Cousin. You will always be in our hearts. ❤
