Margaret Roberts Butler,

Hill of Doon, Oughterard, Co. Galway and late of Sancta Maria, Leenane, Co. Galway - slipped away peacefully on the 24th of May, 2021.

Due to current restrictions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, Margaret’s funeral will be held in private, in line with current restrictions. 

Private Requiem mass will take place in St. Michael’s Church, Leenane on Wednesday, 26th May at 12 o’clock.

Private cremation to follow in Shannon crematorium.

Margaret will be laid to rest at a later date with her beloved parents in Leenane.

Flowers welcome as Margaret loved flowers or donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Galway Hospice foundation.

Please note the funeral cortège will leave her home at 10.30am and travel via Glann, Oughterard Main Street and on to Leenane.
