Deirdre McDermot née Dowling,

Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon (May 24th, 2021) - peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Highfield Healthcare, Swords Road, Whitehall, Dublin.

Predeceased by her husband Eamon and daughter Marie.

Very deeply regretted by her son Edward, daughter-in-law Breda, son-in-law Kieran and his partner Máire, her dearly loved grandchildren Caroline and her husband Werner, Deirdre and her husband Marcos, Katie, Conor and his wife Emily, Ciara and her partner Joe and Niall and his partner Pedro, her great-grandchildren Ruby, Juliet, Samuel, Henry, Rosa and Donagh, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Due to Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community a private family funeral will take place.

Deirdre will be reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 7.30pm for close friends and family.

Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.30pm followed by burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Gaynor Funeral Directors Facebook page.
