Flo Newton née Whelan,

The Fairways, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and late of Ranelagh, Dublin and Horsforth, Leeds (13th April 2021) - peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe and previously in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill.

Predeceased by her husband Joe, parents Florence and Matthew, brothers and sisters Paddy, Carmel, Sadie, Perty, Mattie and Tom. 

Flo will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Marianne, Gabriel, Derek, Kay, Denise, Andrea, Andrew, Anne & Sheila, extended family, wonderful neighbours and a great circle of friends. 

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community, a private family funeral will take place.

Flo's funeral cortege will leave Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square at 10.40am on Saturday morning (17th April) to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

Burial afterward in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
