Nora (Nonie) Gillan nee Kenny,

Conloon, Castlebar and formerly of Tawnyshane, Castlebar - in her 92nd year, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Stephen, sisters Bridget and Nell and brothers Mike and Tom.

She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, daughters Mary (McHugh), Anne (Kennedy), Veronica (Coleman) & Noreen (Smith), sons Michael, Martin and Stephen, daughters-in-law Ann, Anne-Marie and Carmen, sons-in-law Jimmy, Bernard, Terry and Adrian.

Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at The Coady Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10 o’clock until 11 o’clock with removal to St. Michael’s Church, Crimlin via Tawnyshane and Conloon for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards to Turlough Cemetery.

Family flowers only.

House strictly private please.

The funeral will be private for immediate family only.

Those who would like to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions can leave a message of sympathy in the condolence section below.

She was a great lady with a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humour and will be sadly missed. I have fond memories of a trip to Conloon in 2016 to see her with my sisters Margaret and Marian and my brothers Mattie (RIP) and Gerard. Glad we got to make it. She will be joining her parents, sisters and brothers and our relatives in the great after life....
