Canon Richard Tarpey,

Bekan, Co. Mayo (February 28th 2021) - peacefully in the gentle & loving care of the staff of Friars Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe.

Retired Parish Priest Ennistymon, Co. Clare & Lettermore, Connemara & former teacher Coláiste Éinde, Galway.

Predeceased by his brother Seamus and sister Margaret (Spelman).

Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Pauline, Eithne, Muriel and Madeline, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his brothers in priesthood who supported his pastoral ministry in the Diocese of Galway for 55 years.

Sincere thanks to his kind carers and friends Kathleen, Mary and Rita.

In accordance with Government guidelines a private requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady & St. Michael, Ennistymon, Co. Clare on Tuesday, March 2nd 2021 at 12 noon followed by burial in the Church grounds.
