Paddy Ward (better known as "Donegal Paddy"), 

Pine Grove, Rathbawn Road, Castlebar and formerly of Ard MacCarron, Donegal Road, Ballybofey and Navenny St, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Sadly missed by his sons Patrick and Jason, daughter Tanya,  daughter-in-law Cathy, grandchildren, sisters Eithne and Marie, family circle, relatives, neighbours  and many friends in Mayo and Donegal.

He was affectionately known as Donegal Paddy in Mayo where he had a very successful career as a Singer/Musician. 

Removal will take place from the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Monday, 15th February at 8.45am arriving at the Church of Mary Immaculate,  Stranorlar, Co. Donegal for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

Poor aul' Paddy...I delivered to him many a time and a nice cup of tea was always on offer, as well as a roasting hot fire! He was a diamond. We chatted about the damn Donegal V Mayo matches and their varied fortunes, the irish music scene and especially his family, of whom there was a slew of photos all over his house, old and new, young and old. He was always so proud of you all. God bless him and may he rest in Peace forever. He will be missed here in Castlebar.
