Rita Garvey nee Lavin,

Cloonkeehane, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Manchester (February 1st 2021) - unexpectedly and peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital Castlebar in the loving care of her family.

Pre-deceased by her parents and brother John.

Loving wife of Joe and mother to Melissa (London), Kieran and Seán (Claregalway) and Sinéad (Ballinlough).

Sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, her adored grandchildren Hayley, Ashleigh, Harry, Eric, Karina, Aidan and Grace, greatgrandson Leo, her sisters Mary (Birmingham) and Una (Canada), daughters-in-law Geraldine and Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family.

Rita will be greatly missed also by the community and friends of Michael Glaveys G.A.A. club.

In accordance with current government guidelines and in the interest of keeping Rita’s husband and family safe, a private family funeral will take place.

Funeral arriving to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Ballinlough Cemetery.
